Words of wisdom from an ill-tempered Asian

Good evening to you and greetings from Richmond.

On a positive note, I would like to state how nice it was outside today.
Now to start from the end of my day to the beginning because I keeps it real.

Upon my return from a diner I frequent, I figured that being a descent human being should have taught one how to "suck up". The waitress at the diner was to put it bluntly unattractive, both physically and mentally. The only time she showed an ounce of humanity was when she came scuttling up to my table to inform me that the diner was out of lettuce and there for my Greek salad was not going to be ready in the time that I would be there and to beg me not to be mad at her. This information also adding on to the 20 minutes it took for my friends and I to be noticed that we were waiting for drinks and a menu, and that she had somewhat of a fit when we asked for a few more minutes to decide on our food.

Now I know that the old rule "Don't fuck with the people who handle your food". However, when dealing with people who will be deciding how much money you take home with you at the end of the night, I do feel it appropriate to at the very least not be a bitch...or be extremely hot and showing off major quantities of cleavage to ease the pain of the terrible service.

Acoustic guitars, slurpies, and throwing a football in the park on a nice day is awesome.

Now here is a list of CD's that I've been listening to lately and you should too if you haven't all ready.

Northstar - Pollyanna
Saves the Day - In Reverie (If you haven't listened to this by now you have no taste in music)
Cassino - Broken Parachutes
August Burns Red - Lost Messengers
T.I. - Paper Trail (T.I. is awesome. I don't particularly like rap now a days. T.I. is the exception.)
Rx Bandits - ...And The Battle Begun
Boston - Boston (You can never go wrong with the classics)
ABACABB - Survivalist (If you can figure out where the band name came from without looking it up, thumbs up)
Ace Enders and A Million Different People - When I Hit The Ground
Dance Gavin Dance - Dance Gavin Dance (The album actually makes sense which is sad but its still great)

Different Topic

John McCain's daughter Meghan looks foxy on Larry king live. I am in no way, shape or form a republican...or in that case politically diverse in any way besides the fact that I hate politicians, but I don't have to like them to appreciate a fine piece like that. Mmmmm

Different Topic, Back to the music
So two bands of equal influence, Blink 182 and Green Day are coming out with albums supposedly around the same time. But Green Day's only good CD was Dookie so who cares about them. As one of my favorite albums of all time is Take Off Your Pants and Jacket, closely following In Through The Out Door by Led Zeppelin and Shadows Are Security by As I Lay Dying ( Don't judge me) I'm more excited about Blink's album than Green Day's. It also may be in spite of my roomate's almost weird devotion to them.

Unfortunately the frequency of insomnia with me occurs more than I would like, but that's all I have to say for now.

Until next time,
Cheers
